Malama Expands Doula-Led Tech-Enabled Care Services in Colorado to Expand Equitable Maternal Health Access

DENVER, CO — Malama Medical Group, a physician-owned corporation focused on improving maternal health outcomes, announced today the launch of Malama’s Extra Support program in Colorado, expanding access to the wraparound pregnancy and postpartum support services for Health First Colorado members statewide. The program, offered at no cost to Health First Colorado members, connects pregnant individuals to culturally congruent, doula-led care navigation and critical health-related social supports including nutritional counseling, behavioral health and postpartum support.
